The series follows master spy Twilight, who must disguise himself as psychiatrist Loid Forger and build a mock family in order to investigate political leader Donovan Desmond. Unbeknownst to him, his wife, Yor, is actually an assassin known as the Thorn Princess, while his daughter, Anya, has telepathic abilities.[3]

"Yor's Kitchen": Worried about losing her family, Yor seeks help from Camilla to improve her cooking and learns how to cook a stew from her childhood. However, after cooking for Loid and Anya, Yor realizes she has grown fond of them.
"A Revenge Plot Against Desmond": Anya foils George Glooman's plans to get Damian expelled as revenge for putting his family's company out of business. After gaining sympathy from his classmates, they send him off with a heartfelt farewell. At night, George learns that his family's company is not closing and returns to school the next day, embarrassed.
The latest anime series from Wit Studio and CloverWorks features the story of a fake family, which includes Twilight, Thorn Princess, and Anya. The first episode of the anime was extraordinary in terms of pacing, animation, and music, and fans are already excited to see what more the anime has to offer.
Fans across the world watched the subbed version of the premiere episode. However, Crunchyroll recently announced the English cast of Spy X Family. Along with the cast, the streaming platform also stated that the English dub of the anime series would arrive in just a few days.
Crunchyroll will start releasing the English dub of Spy x Family beginning Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 5:30 pm ET/2:30 pm PT. After that, the streaming service will get new dub episodes every week.
The wait won't be long for the highly anticipated Spy x Family anime adaptation to get its English dub. After making its grand entrance on Crunchyroll on April 9, the English SimulDub of the spy thriller is set to debut over the weekend on April 16 at 5:30 p.m. ET / 2:30 p.m. PT, with new episodes following on a weekly basis. In the official announcement, Crunchyroll also unmasked the series' main cast members, which include three veteran voice actors getting their due as the stars of the show.
Playing the roles of the totally real Forger family in the English dub are Alex Organ as Agent Twilight, aka Loid, Natalie Van Sistine as Thorn Princess, aka Yor, and Megan Shipman as their adopted daughter Anya. It's a big step for all three actors, who've appeared in massive anime in the past, including High School DxD, Psycho-Pass, and Kemono Friends, but rarely get top billing. They all also share a common role as side characters or additional voices for the English Dub of the acclaimed Attack on Titan. The Spy x Family dub will also receive ADR direction from Black Clover alum Cris George.
The whole premise of Spy x Family revolves around Twilight and his work as a spy amidst a cold war between the fictional nations of Westalis and Ostania. For his latest mission, he's given perhaps his hardest task yet: getting married. In order to infiltrate a private school to track his latest target, he'll have to get married and adopt a child to enroll, but that's easier said than done, given that Twilight is a cold, stoic man of mystery with combat prowess to rival John Wick. He eventually runs into Anya, a telepath who joins up with him and poses as his daughter, and marries Yor, an assassin who is also trying to hide her identity. Hilarity and action ensue as the normally cold and emotionless Twilight becomes family man Loid Forger and tries to help his daughter succeed in order to get her into Eden Academy.
Spy x Family's anime adaptation has been hotly anticipated, given the massive success of the Eisner Award-nominated manga from Tatsuya Endo that it's based on. Also lending credence to the adaptation is Kazuhiro Furuhashi, the director behind Hunter x Hunter and Rurouni Kenshin, who is also taking the reins for this series. To celebrate the release of the English SimulDub, Crunchyroll is giving fans an early look at the first episode on its Twitch channel on April 15 at 1:00 p.m. PT/ 4:00 p.m. ET.
Along with the English dub, Crunchyroll is expected to debut French and German dubs for the series on April 16, with the Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese dubs following soon after on April 23. Spy x Family's first episode is out now with subtitles, and you can watch new episodes every Saturday from now on, both subbed and dubbed.
Spy x Family has easily become one of the most alluring anime series in Spring 2022. Of all its traits, audiences particularly enjoyed the interesting situations that occurred based on the series's setting as they follow the spy-filled adventures of the Forger family. The world is divided between two nations: Westalis and Ostania, with the former being more democratic.
The city also features a clear divide between the lower class and upper-class families, with upper-class children attending the Eden Academy. This academy is where the story largely takes place, as Anya attempts to get closer to her classmates (particularly Damian Desmond, whose family is suspected of warmongering). Nonetheless, having grown up in an orphanage, there is a lot for Anya to learn about getting along with her upper-class peers.
Now with the war concluded, Spy x Family focuses on Twilight's mission to keep the peace between his country and Ostania. However, Ostanian parties, like the Desmond Family's National Unity Party, seem to have a terrible impression of Westalis based on the events of the war. This has been the main motivating factor in the actions of WISE in Operation Strix, the mission that lead to the creation of the Forger family. 041b061a72
